يكافح رجال الإطفاء لاحتواء حريق اندلع في وقت مبكر صباح يوم السبت داخل كاتدرائية في مدينة نانت بغرب فرنسا، حسبما ذكرت الخدمة المحلية لمكافحة الحرائق عبر تويتر.
وأظهرت لقطات تلفزيونية أعمدة الدخان تتصاعد من مبنى الكاتدرائية الذي يرجع تاريخ بنائه إلى القرن الخامس عشر.
ويأتي الحريق بعد ما يربو بقليل على عام واحد من تعرض كاتدرائية نوتردام التاريخية في باريس لحريق التهم برجها الرئيسي ودمره تماما.
